Casting-(1-movies) Casting is the searching, evaluation and assigning of roles for actors in a performance, show or moving picture. (2-transmission) Casting is the providing or transferring of content from a sender to one or more receivers.
Cloud Video-Cloud video is the dynamic allocation of video production, management, or distribution functions or tasks to computers that are connected to a network (such as personal computers that are connected to the Internet).
Coder/Decoder (Codec)-Codecs are devices or software that are used to compress (code) or expand (decode) information to a fewer number of bits for more efficient transmission and storage. The term codec normally only applies to compression of human-perceived signals such as speech, audio, images, or video.
Collaborative Workflow-Collaborative workflow is the process that allows multiple reviewers, creators, and managers participate in the creation or preparation of text, graphics or video.
Compliance Logging-Compliance logging is the process of storing broadcasted media and related program information to enable the replay of broadcast content to ensure that the media conformed to various requirements (such as regulatory requirements).
Compliance Monitoring-Compliance monitoring is the process of capturing and evaluating media that is broadcast or transferred so that it can be determined if the media was authorized for use, or when and where it was scheduled to be broadcast.
Compliance Recording-Compliance recording is the process of capturing and storing media that is broadcasted or transferred so that it can be accessed and reviewed at a later time to determine if the content conformed to rules and regulatory requirements.
Control Skin-A control skin is a set of controls or user interfaces that can be used to control and interact with a product or service.
Dailies-Dailies are unedited recordings that have been produced during the day.
Special Effects (SFX)-Special effects are the modification or addition of images to produce a new image sequence. Special effects generators can manipulate how video sequences interact with each other and possibly add graphics or animations to the video sequences.
Storyboard-A storyboard is a group of images or media segments that describe the key elements of a media ad, campaign or program. Storyboard images may contain rough sketches of proposed images along with some captions or descriptions.

Video Switcher-A video switcher (also called a video mixer) is a signal connection device or assembly that enables an operator to select the input source that will be connected to other lines or devices. A switcher may include some media processing capabilities including fades, wipes and mixing.
Workflow-Workflow is the tasks and processes that are necessary to perform projects or assignments.
Workflow Automation-Workflow automation is the process of using a system that has established rules or procedures that allows for the acquisition, creation, scheduling or transmission of content assets.
